Serving Our Community

Earlier this summer, DayStarr hosted dozens of 2nd thru 5th graders who participated in a special computer coding camp offered over the summer by Owosso Public Schools. Steve Starr, DayStarr’s Director of Operations, walked the students through the company’s server room, where the “brains” of its network reside, and showed them several pieces of equipment — large and small — that DayStarr needs to provide fiber internet, phone and cable TV to its customers. The possible future tech geniuses asked questions and got to see how coding is used in various parts of DayStarr’s office and network operations.

DayStarr has built its strong reputation on service, timeliness and honesty. Service comes in many forms. In this case, we’re talking about how we give back to our community through our time, talent and financial support.
